Job Description:
A company is looking for an Actuary (Life) to join their Finance
and Internal Audit department in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the calculation of reserves and valuation models for life
insurance products
Manage actuarial systems and processes to minimize model risk
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and monitor regulatory
changes
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics,
or a related field
Typically five to seven years of actuarial experience
FSA designation is preferred
Experience with Statutory/GAAP valuation in life insurance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, analytical software, and SQL
