Role Purpose:
As a Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for building and managing a global team of Product Owners focused on our Airline Retailing product set. A large focus of the role will initially be ensuring the team is set up for success as a true Product function, transitioning away from a Services Mentality function.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Recruit, mentor, and lead the Product Owner team. Influence and establish best product management practices.
  
• Champion Lean product management and ensure continuous delivery of value to customers.
  
• Contribute vision and strategies for the product portfolio, identifying market opportunities.
  
• Execute product roadmaps, analyze customer and product data, and manage risks.
  
• Build collaborative relationships with key partners and drive priorities aligned to business goals.
  
• Represent Accelya at industry working groups and initiatives.
  
• Drive product lifecycle from requirement definitions to launch efforts.
  
• Ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  
• Partner with multifunctional teams across multiple Products and Services.
  
• Support technical team in designing scalable systems for millions of customers.
  
  Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

  • Extensive domain knowledge in Airline Retailing and leadership experience.
    
  • Demonstrate continuous thought leadership with measurable outcomes.
    
  • Understand airline regulatory and data governance standards.
    
  • Experience in going through a full product lifecycle.
    
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
    
  • A test and learn mentality and an agile way of working.
    
  • Experience in developing and enhancing moderately complex products.
    
  • Ability to craft solutions to business challenges and communicate effectively.
