RBI owns four of the world's most prominent and iconic quick service restaurant brands - TIM HORTONS, BURGER KING, POPEYES, and FIREHOUSE SUBS.Our Opportunity: Restaurant Brands International is looking for a Director to join our Popeyes Franchising & Business Development Team based in Miami, FL.The Director supports the effort to create a best-in-class franchise system by assisting with the strategic planning for the Popeyes brand, facilitation of M&A transactions and growing the Popeyes footprint through Development Agreements with new and existing franchisees.Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business unit leaders in developing and executing development and expansion strategy for long-term growth of the Popeyes brand.
• Market the expansion opportunity externally and attract the highest quality prospective franchisees.
• Build and analyze financial models, outputs and scenarios to underwrite proposed transactions and deal structuring.
• Lead and conduct due diligence on prospective expanding franchisees.
• Negotiation of development agreements with new and existing franchisees.
• Liaise between Development, Franchising and Field teams to gather necessary insights to develop go-forward strategies.
• Develop and deliver presentations both internally and externally to executive level leadership.Required Skills:
  • Undergraduate Bachelor's degree. MBA is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in business development, corporate strategy or a related field, preferably in the QSR industry.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Technical excel modeling and financial modeling for scenario and deal structuring.
  • Ability to collaborate with different departments to collect variety of data and structure pitch to potential franchisee partners.
