Job Description
Supports all sales activities of the Sales Associate to achieve
total customer satisfaction. Must be able to perform sales
associate duties when they are not available or in the office.
-Process all stock and FD orders that are received as well as
pricing requests and be able to prepare them by using the Don Quote
program.
-Write up FD/BC orders as required and process them.
-Proactively expedite FD shipments to minimize last-minute problems
on deliveries. Provide updated lists of goods available at the
freight forwarder to our customers when asked.
-Insure coordination of orders to freight forwarders for overseas
shipments and proper deliveries to the forwarders are
completed.
-Prepare and deliver correct documentation to the customers and
their forwarders to expedite export shipments.
-Handle and respond to all incoming phone messages, emails, and
faxes with limited management support.
-File all necessary documents as required.
-Mail customer invoices to ensure prompt payment and/or expedited
passage through customs in the destination country.
-Work with vendors and manufacturers' representatives to obtain
competitive pricing as needed to support quotations and contract to
price.
-Maintain& process all contracts.
External Qualifications
Requires HS or equivalent, 2+ years of administrative support
experience, Working knowledge of Word and Excel, strong
organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Prior hospitality or hospitality sales and freight forwarder
experience is a plus. Ability to enter orders directly into the SAP
order entry system.
